Death of Paul Walker

Paul Walker was an American actor who was known for his role as ' in the film series The Fast and the Furious. Along with his friend Roger Rodas, he died in a car crash on November 30, 2013.
Background
Walker was born on September 12, 1973. He was an American actor who became famous in 1999, after his role in the film Varsity Blues. He gained international fame after starring in The Fast and the Furious as , a role he assumed for the other films in the series except .
Rodas, 38 years old, was a friend of Walker's. He was the owner of Always Evolving, an automobile shop which Walker had a stake in. Rodas was the driver of the car, a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT.
The event
On Sunday, November 30, 2013, Walker attended a fundraiser at Always Evolving. but Rodas, the driver, lost control and spun into a pole. The crash caused a massive fire, which engulfed Walker and Rodas. Both men died instantly, despite the efforts of others to try to extinguish the flames. However, police eventually concluded that there was no racing involved.
