Dean Lyness is a young English footballer. He plays as a goalkeeper, his former club was birmingham city who currently play in the english premier league, he was at birmingham city from a young age up until the end of the 2008/09 season. He made several appearances for thier u18 team and also made appearances for the reserve team and was an un used substitute towards the end of last season for the away games to Coventry City and Crystal Palace. He has also made appearances for both England Under 16s and 17s and has been tipped for future sucess by current Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor. He is now currently playing for hearts in the SPL.
