Daytime (Canadian talk show)

rightdaytime is a Canadian television talk show that has become one of the defining shows across the Rogers TV network of local community television stations.
Daytime (stylized daytime) covers a wide spectrum of topics in a 60-minute format, generally described as a local lifestyle show that highlights members of the community. Some of the topics and themes based from community access of the show range from food, cooking, home, decorating, shopping, fashion, health, fitness, entertainment and more.
Local editions
Each edition of daytime is divided and produced by region, as a means to allow members of each community local access. On-air broadcast is limited to the regions they are produced.
Durham Region
In 2007, daytime was hosted by Jim Bamboulis and Kasia Bodurka. In Fall 2008, daytime was rebranded as First Local Midday, hosted by Debra Hutchison and Kasia Bodurka.
On September 8, 2009, the show reverted to daytime and was hosted by Kasia Bodurka and Christian Pritchard. On February 7, 2011, Kasia ended her tenure as co-host. In Fall 2011, Christian was joined by Julia Piedimonte.
In the Fall of 2012, daytime was streamlined to a single-host format with Dena Chiarcossi.
As of September 2014, the show is hosted by Sarah Newcomb.
Ottawa
Derick Fage hosted daytime Ottawa until December 2015, leaving the program (and Rogers TV Ottawa) to take on hosting duties with Breakfast Television Montreal. Since then, the show has been hosted by Dylan Black of Ottawa's Boom 99.7. Daytime Ottawa is a half hour show that airs at 1, 6 and 11pm every weekday.

Hosted by Diane Foulds and Dave Carr until its cancellation.
Host Gloria Hogan died suddenly during the 2007-2008 season.
London
Hosted by Ken Eastwood until its cancellation.
Oxford County
Hosted by Woodstock city councillor Jerry Acchione and his wife Sara until its cancellation.
Simcoe County
Hosted by Melanie Case and Will Nash until its cancellation.
Toronto
Hosted by Val Cole and supporting host Shannon T. Boodram until its cancellation.
Waterloo Region
For the majority of its run, daytime Waterloo Region was hosted by Susan Cook-Scheerer and Mark Paine. In 2009, Paine departed the show and was replaced by Jay Chagnon who co-hosted alongside Cook-Scheerer until his departure in September 2012. Mark Paine returned to the show alongside Cook-Scheerer after Chagnon's departure. In September 2014, daytime Waterloo Region streamlined to a single-host format with Cook-Scheerer until its cancellation in May 2017. The show featured expert lifestyle guests appearing on a regular basis.
The show aired in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Woolwich Township, Stratford, Wellesley and Wilmot Township.
York Region
Hosted by Jacqueline Betterton, at one point with Jeff Moore, until its cancellation.
In 2012 and 2013, Elaine Yim-Spencer temporarily hosted alongside Jeff Moore.
Peel Region
Cancelled and replaced with Night Time, a millennial-focused talk show hosted by Arelean Paculen, which itself was discontinued due to the closure of Rogers TV Peel Region.
Saint John, NB Region
Hosted by Joshua Britten and Pauline Cronin.
This edition of the show aired from September 2006 until August 2008.
The final 12 episodes of the 2006-2007 season were rebranded as "The 12 daytimes of Christmas", and featured holiday topics in each show. A three-episode series celebrating St. Patrick's Week was produced in 2007.
St. Thomas
daytime St. Thomas was rebranded as Inside Elgin, and has since been cancelled.
