David Phillip Lapierre (born October 22, 1961) is a search engine optimization ("SEO") expert, Web entrepreneur, Google Webmaster, founder of DLG Results, and co-founder of the interactive cemetery website service. He has also created his own Content Management System, called CMS 2.0, which enables its users to add, change, and delete information on their websites .
In June 2005, Lapierre and his business partner Brian Killelea launched the Worcester County Memorial Park website, allowing visitors to write about departed family members, post pictures, create family trees, purchase flowers, and view condolences written by others. The service won the Worcester Pulse Magazine's "27 To Watch in 2007" award, as well as articles in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette , Wachusett Landmark Newspaper , ICFA magazine and the Death Care Business Advisor .
Lapierre was an adjunct faculty member at Becker College teaching Economics and a 400-level Market Research class from 1986-2003. He is a frequent speaker at search engine marketing and affiliate conferences, and Clark University. He has participated annually in the Search Engine Optimization Convention in New York since 2002 and has attended seminars sponsored by Yahoo and Google that specialize in Content Management Systems, Search Engine Optimization, as well as website-security and maximum rankings achievement. He is a member of a Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO), as well as TOP SEOS.
