David K. Lappin (born December 7, 1981) is a professional online poker player and writer from Dublin, Ireland. Playing most of his poker on Full Tilt (fulltiltpoker.com) under the user-name 'LAPPIN', he made his name in 2008 as a 45-player SNG (Sit n Go) Specialist, finishing 4th in this format on the Sharkscope Leaderboard. He has also enjoyed moderate success in MTTs (multi-table tournaments) and cash games. Since September 2008, Lappin has been ranked the #1 Irish online tournament poker player, overtaking his good friend Stephen O'Connor (Stinky Budz).
Amongst various other writing endeavors, Lappin writes a popular blog for www.dublinbellybusters.com, a poker website he formed in 2007.
