David C. Pack

David C. Pack (Born 1948, Lima, Ohio) is the current Pastor General of The Restored Church of God, and oversees, according to the church 'the world’s most extensive biblically based websites'.
Life
Born in Lima, Ohio his early life had a large sports dedication, taking part in competitive swimming for 14 years, and having achieved high school all-American honors, as well as having begun training for the 1968 Olympics. He then began listening to The World Tomorrow radio program and heard Herbert W. Armstrong announce about the faith and gospel.
In response he declined acceptance to Dartmouth College, in addition to the United States Naval Academy, instead he attendad Ambassador College at Pasadena, California. He graduated in 1971, to which followed a marriage to Shirley Ochs (who died in 2007), a fellow Ambassador College graduate and once former personal secretary to Armstrong, he then entered the ministry of the church. He served congregations in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey and Ohio, and trained and supervised other ministers in a wider region.

He began as a writer in the 1970s, and according to the church 'Mr. Pack’s vast array of books, booklets and articles has helped millions learn biblical truths as never before. He has traveled the world, pastored thousands, and conducted many public Bible lectures. Mr. Pack has also held a number of leadership positions that have given him a wide range of ministerial and administrative experiences.'

Mr. Pack left the Worldwide Church of God in 1993 and determined not to compromise his beliefs, Mr. Pack started RCG in May 1999.
