He is also the half-brother, through his mother, of Alicia Silverstone who has called him David Silverstone. He is a producer, actor, screenwriter, director and entrepreneur. His birth name is David Jacques Pierre Cocordan or Cogordan in French, as he was raised by his mother Karen, the 7th cousin of his biological father Richard Hilton and 13th cousin of his biological father, (Dave Hilton's 14th cousin) his father Francois Cocordan or Cogordan, in French, the Count of Crosier. David Hilton is the Count of Cutgurden. Hilton did not know his true father's identity until 2008. Dave Hilton's birth parents are both his 8th cousin, and he theres.
