Dave Castaldo

Dave Castaldo (born David Georg Lundén on 24 May 1982 in Skänninge, Sweden) is a Swedish producer, songwriter, and musician. His artistic name —Dave Castaldo— is also the name of his current solo project in which he plays bass and sings. He studied music production at Kulturama in Stockholm, Sweden.
Former bass player of the hardcore punk band Dead End. Their songs were included in a vast number of genre compilation recods, and their album, Killing the Messanger was released in Sweden, England and in the U.S by Bridge of Compassion Records (Sweden), and by 625 Trashcore and Underestimated Records (U.S).
In 2001 he moved to Malmö, Sweden, where he started the glam rock band Lamont with four friends. In 2006 they released their single "Rather do it". In 2007 they released the first full album called The Golden Daze, produced by Swedish artists Moto Boy and Ola Salo. The band toured around Europe, and they had a considerable exposure in Swedish media. Their released was backed up by the controversial site The Pirate Bay'. The album hit 100,000 downloads in the first 24 hours, and 500,000 by the end of the first week.
He started his solo project in 2011 in Stockholm, after the band split. In 2012 he released his first EP, Break out of Silence featuring songs in English and Spanish. The Record was mixed by Per Aldeheim in Toytown Studios.
