Darren Fitzpatrick

Darren Fitzpatrick was a former coach of the Ireland national Australian rules football team
Playing & Coaching Career
Fitzpatrick was a former rookie with the Western Bulldogs. He guided the Irish team to victory in the inaugural 2002 Australian Football International Cup in Melbourne and the 2001 Atlantic Alliance Cup. He then went on to coach the Castlehaven GAA team when they won the Cork Senior Football Championship in 2003. After his successful stint in Cork, where he opened a series of popular massage parlours, Fitzy went on to train the Clontarf Senior Football team where he promised to win them the Dublin championship but fell short. Upon leaving Clontarf for Oliver Plunketts he tried his best to sway Clontarf's star forward, Mossy O'Cuinneaghan with him but could not break him from his tight bond with Clontarf and Parnells.
