Darren Falcus

Darren Falcus has been a creator of video games from the age of 14,, and had his first game published in 1983 (Castle of Doom, Dragon 32). He started his first game development company with his brother Jason Falcus aged 17 (Optimus Software Ltd) and went on to sell the company to US based developer Iguana Entertainment. Iguana was subsequently sold to Acclaim Entertainment.
In 2000, Darren went back to independent game development once again, forming -- again with his brother Jason Falcus -- Atomic Planet Entertainment Ltd. The studio is based in Middlesbrough (North East England) and has worked on titles such as Jackie Chan Adventures, Mike Tyson Boxing, Miami Vice & Darkwind.
Other recent activities include climbing Mount Kilamanjaro (for charity), becoming chairman of industry body TIGA and becoming a parent.
