Darren Dowler

Darren Duane Dowler is best known as a musician and singer, but is quickly becoming a known television and film personality as well. From 1995 to 2005, he was a member of the famed harmony giants The Lettermen. He recorded seven albums with them, including Greatest Movie Hits, Lettermen Favorites, The Solos, Live In Concert, Lettermen Today, Live In Hong Kong and The Most Wonderful Time of the Year . Dowler was inducted into The Vocal Group Hall Of Fame for his work with the group, as the youngest member to date. He left the group in 2005 to take some time off to raise his daughter. In 2008, he returned to performing and had a notable role in the blockbuster film, Hancock, [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448157/fullcredits#cast], with Will Smith. In the early ninety's Dowler was in the television series' The Adventures of Superboy' and Swamp Thing The Series . Dowler has appeared on and off Broadway. In 1989 Dowler played Elvis Presley and other roles in the Broadway Show Elvis - An American Musical. In 2008, Dowler was asked by Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers to step into the crooning shoes of the late Bobby Hatfield as the new high voice of the group. Concurrently Dowler was also asked to take over the lead vocalist spot in the sixties iconic band, Paul Revere and the Raiders, a spot at on time held by Mark Lindsay. Currently he sings for both groups.
