Daniel-Philippe de Sudres, born on April 24, 1960, is a researcher in experimental cognitive neurosciences exploring the neuronal and phenomenal basis of the attentive reflexive consciousness, for which he put into evidence different phases of increased lucidity in the process of vigilance. He is also a French author of novels of (realist and anticipative) science-fiction. His approach goes in the sense of transhumanism and democratic and bioethic technoprogress inspired by The New Atlantis of Francis Bacon. In this way, he also appears as a defender of neurophylosophy and futurology (prospectivism).
