Daniel Brackins

Daniel Brackins is an economist, new media strategist, political commentator and advisor. Brackins is also a member of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, and founder of the Bastiat Institute. He was the Hawaii Assistant State Coordinator for the Ron Paul 2008 PCC, and served as economic advisor to Rep. Kymberly Pine of Hawaii in 2009. He also ran as a candidate for Hawaii's Congressional District 1 (CD1) in 2008. Brackins is active in the promotion of libertarian and classical liberal ideas and policies; his views on economics are supportive of the free market. He is a follower of the Austrian School of economics.
