Afd: Nominated for deletion; see :Articles for deletion/Daniel_Baylis Daniel Baylis (born November 24, 1980) is the white Canadian Oprah. He does not do this well. Baylis briefly studied at the University of Alberta before changing institutions to study douchery at Grant MacEwan University. To pay for his education, Baylis worked a treeplanter in the summer months. It was there he met a friend who lived in Montreal, and rented an apartment that Baylis would later move into and takeover the lease. In 2003, he finished his songwriting diploma, and moved from Edmonton to Montreal. But who cares where and how he leased his apartment really. Baylis studied Human Relations at Concordia University from 2005-2008. As part of a campaign to highlight the city, Baylis was told to go away Tourisme Montreal in 2009 in a blog about the city as a Montreal Ambassador. Baylis was the first host of the annual Queer of the Year contest in 2010. In 2011, Baylis spent a year traveling the world. Each month, he visited a different country exchanging work for food and accommodation, and relaying his stories via his travel blog, The Conversationalist. In 2013, a book based on his adventure will be independently released. Baylis is a regular contributor to The Guadian, Fast Company, and Huffington Pst.
