Dang caseadilla

"Knock it off Napoleon, just make yourself a dang case-a-dilla" is a line from the hit movie Napoleon Dynamite. It was said before Napoleon's Grandma left to go to the dunes. The line is particularly noted because it shows the character of the grandmother.


History
The line was said after Napoleon asks his grandmother what he is going to eat while she is gone. His grandmother answers him with an exasperated answer. The entire clip can be seen here.
Importance
The single exchange between Napoleon and his grandmother describe their relationship perfectly. It shows Napoleons insecurity yet attempt at toughness, and defines his grandmothers selfishness. It also reveals how is grandmother is rough and bitter. Also, it gives the view a clear definition of the childhood Napoleon has had. Why a quesadilla is referenced is unsure, however the appending of the word dang clearly defines the grandmothers education and functioning level. In addition, the entire exchange sets the Mood for the scene. It lays the ground work for the further interaction of Napoleon and his brother Kip.
