Dance Monkeyboy is an Internet meme and a viral video of Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer being introduced at Microsoft's 25th anniversary party. The video features Ballmer dancing and screaming wildly to by Gloria Estefan. The video has circulated on-line since 2001 and has been used as the basis for a parody Zune advertisement entitled "welcome to the so-so" and done in the style of the iPod silhouette ads. . The video was also parodied in a first season episode of the American animated television series Metalocalypse. The episode was titled "Murdering Outside the Box". Artist Digital Droo mashed up this video with a clip of Ballmer chanting "developers" to produce the song "Monkey Developers." This video was prominently featured in the film Surplus: Terrorized into Being Consumers. See Also
