Dan Coombs (born 1971) is an English painter. Born in London, Coombs grew up in Pershore, Worcestershire. He attended Pershore High School, the local comprehensive school. He studied Fine Art at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford University, between 1989 and 1992. He then went on to complete an M.A. in Painting at the Royal College of Art between 1992 and 1994. He was the Rome Scholar in Painting at the British School at Rome from 1994-1995, and is visiting lecturer in Painting at Wimbledon College of Art. and early patron of the Brit Pack, Writing on artnet.com, Paul Hasegawa-Overacker reviewed The New Neurotic Realism, a book released by Saatchi Gallery Publications in conjunction with the exhibit. In 2012 has was co-curator (along with Phillip Allen) of The Perfect Nude exhibit at Wimbledon College of Art.
