Dan Cobley

Dan Cobley is a British businessman, investor and speaker. He is the former director of marketing at Google and co-founder of the financial technology company, ClearScore.
Early life
Cobley has graduated in physics from Oxford and done masters in management from Cambridge university.
Career
Cobley worked for Pepsi, Ask Jeeves and Capital One before joining Google as the marketing director in 2006 to run the team at UK. Later he became the European marketing chief and then promoted to managing director for the UK business in 2011. In 2014, he left Google to launch ClearScore with Justin Basini and Nigel Morris in partnership with Blenheim Chalcot and QED Investors. He also runs the fin-tech company Brightbridge Ventures with business partner Mark Onyett.
He was named at 3 in the Wired UK top 100 list 2012.
