Cuttermaran

Cuttermaran is a computer software for film editing video files. Its name is a portmanteau of "cutter" (as in to split) and "catamaran", a two-hulled boat.
Input video must be split into separate audio and video streams (demultiplexed). It supports MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video and MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 (Layer I-III) audio, AC3 audio, DTS audio and PCM audio.
Cuttermaran was first released in 2003. Licensed under the GNU General Public License, Cuttermaran is free software. The current version, 1.70, was released on 22 October 2009. Cuttermaran requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 and DirectX 9b.
