The Crystal's Kids Foundation Inc.
Crystal had been a strong advocate for "Child Obesity" groups. Growing up, she struggled with her weight and witnessed firsthand the devastating effects it can have on one’s self-esteem, health, and social development. As a child, she was teased and bullied because of her appearance. Through her challenging obstacles, she became inspired and lost over 80 lbs. It was from her childhood experiences that motivated her to take her platform to the next level.

In 2011, she became inspired by the first lady Michelle Obama’s program “Let’s Move!” and started her own non-profit organization called “The Crystal’s Kids Foundation Inc,” which is a mentoring program for children struggling with child obesity. She hopes that through her organization and awareness she can help combat the child obesity epidemic.
