Creative Nation is an American music publishing company owned by Luke Laird and Beth Laird, and home to some of Country music's top songwriters and producers, including Luke Laird and Barry Dean. The company has partnerships with Universal Music Publishing Group and Pulse Recording. Creative Nation is based in Nashville, TN
History
Luke Laird has co-written for some of music’s biggest artists which include: Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Luke Bryan, Chris Young, Lee Ann Womack, Hunter Hayes, Amy Grant, Little Big Town, John Legend, Ne-Yo, Lauren Alaina, Sara Evans, and Charlotte Church. Laird’s songs have contributed to the sales of more than 20 million albums
Beth Laird is a music publishing executive with work experience at Bertelsmann Music Group Publishing, Windswept Music Publishing, and most recently at Broadcast Music Inc. in writer/publisher relations. In 2010, Beth was named one of 's "30 Under 30 Power Players to Watch."
In 2012, Creative Nation clients wrote the original song "Here's Hope" for ConAgra Foods' nationally-recognized Child Hunger Ends Here campaign. In addition to the 5 million meals donated to schools around the United States, this campaign will contribute $10 million over the next 5 years, to Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Other works in 2012 include Barry Dean's "Where We Left Off" (co-written with Hunter Hayes) which appears on the Act Of Valor soundtrack, and Luke Laird's "Little Bit Later On" which was co-written with Luke Bryan and appears on the his "Spring Break 4...Suntan City" EP
