Crash TV

"Crash TV" refers to a style of booking in the wrestling industry where televised shows are either written last-minute or re-written with major changes to the original format. Vince Russo employed this style of booking in his days as head booker in the World Wrestling Federation (now World Wrestling Entertainment), and again in the same capacity during the final days of World Championship Wrestling.

Because of the "on-the-fly" nature of Crash TV, storylines and events often do not make coherrent sense from week to week. Common themes in the Crash TV style are the use of celebrities, frequent title changes, and edgy storylines.
