Air Studios
Duncan started out as a tea boy at the famous Air Studios owned by Chrysalis Records. Chairman of the studios was The Beatles producer George Martin for whom, on one occasion, Duncan had sung a guide vocal of a song entitled 'We Are The Brigands' for demo intended for Windsor Davies of It Ain't Half Hot Mum fame. While at the studios Craig worked on many recording projects including with bands such as: The Beautiful South, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Dire Straits, Dave Gilmour, The Beatles CD mastering, Brian Eno, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. While at Air Craig recorded several of his own songs for personal pleasure. Some songs were later used on student film scores.

Standing Tall
A musical play written by Phil Dukes with songs written by Craig Duncan. Craig wrote and recorded tunes and lyrics onto a cassette tape which was mailed to the production based in Midhurst where they were re-worked and adapted for the stage. He never met the production people and co-writers until on the final night's performance, when he was called to the stage to shake their hands for the first time.

Spinnin' Room
A band Craig was involved with for a short time playing bass guitar. Craig recorded the band at Air Studios and joined them when bass player Libby Potter (now a BBC presenter) stepped down. Spinnin' Room won a Kit Kat sponsored battle of the bands in Hull in the 1990s and went on to tour Northern England. During a performance to drunken farming students the band leader's girlfriend took to the stage prompting Duncan to down his instrument, leave the stage (followed by the drummer, Spence) and essentially leave the band never to return.
