Craig Bjornson

Craig Bjornson is a pitching coach in Minor League Baseball.
Bjornson was a pitcher for Nicholls State University who signed as a minor league free agent with the Houston Astros in 1991 and remained in their system through the 1993 season playing for the GCL Astros, Asheville Tourists , Burlington Astros, Auburn Astros and Quad City River Bandits, never rising about "A" ball. His final minor league numbers were 9-18, 3.82 era in 81 games, 27 of them as a starter, with 162 strikeouts and 87 walks.
After his career ended, he became a pitching coach in the Montreal Expos (and later the Washington Nationals system. He worked for them from 1999-2001 and again from 2003-2005, with a one year stint in the Kansas City Royals system in between. He was also a pitching coach in the Venezuelan Winter League in 1999-2000 & 2002.
In 2006, he was hired as the Pitching Coach by the Los Angeles Dodgers Rookie Class farm team, the Ogden Raptors. He left the organization after the 2008 season.
