Country Club Mall

The Country Club Mall is the largest shopping mall in Western Maryland west of Sideling Hill. Country Club Mall offers a selection of big box retailers such as: Wal-Mart, JC Penney, The Bon-Ton and Sears. In addition, the mall offers a diverse selection of specialty retailers and entertainment includes an AMC multi-screen theater, an array of food merchants, an optometrist and several styling salons. As of the late 1990s, locals bid a tearful farewell to 'The Dream Machine', where grandmothers took their grandchildren to play. In March of 1999, Lend Lease Real Estate Investments of Atlanta sold the property to LaVale Associates of Pittsburgh for an undisclosed purchase price. |
