Corrado Malavasi is an Italian composer of classical contemporary music. He taked a diploma in piano and electronic music. He attended composition's and and teaching's seminars about/with Helmut Friedrich Lachenmann, Piotr Lachert, György Ligeti, Gérard Grisey, Salvatore Sciarrino, John Paynter, Alvise Vidolin, A. Orcalli, G. Borio. Finalista in diversi concorsi, He won the III International Contest of "Musica Sacra" “F. Rielo” in Roma - 2005; some of his compositions have been chosen for the festivals FrammentAzioni (Udine 2008), Eterotopie (Mantova 2007-2008), Silence - International Festival of acousmatic music (Bari 2007). Nel 2011 for the independent label Miraloop he released Zen, a work that consists in some brief tracks (between about 20 seconds and two minutes)
