Cornelius Williams

Cornelius Ayodele Hudson Williams (born March 24, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York is an industrial strategist, consultant, speaker and author of 3 books, including his tell-it-all entrepreneurship manual, Businessentials! Other books he has written include Salessentials and Lifessentials. He is also the Founder/Chairman/Chief Industrial Strategist at Suilen Roc Industrial Management, Inc.(SRIM), a privately held industrial investment, acquisition and development firm.
Early life
Williams is the son of Cornelius A. H. Williams Sr., a civil engineer/hydrologist, retired Engineer-in-Chief of Guma Valley Water Company, a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the first Sierra Leonean US Licenced Professional Engineer (PE), and his wife, [http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id100001267495865&skwall Francess Muriel Ibironkeh Williams]. Both parents are native of Sierra Leone who were students studying in the United States at his birth. Though born in the US, at age 8 months Cornelius Jr. moved with his parents upon completion of their schooling to Freetown, Sierra Leone. While in Sierra Leone, he attended The Prince of Wales secondary school in Kingtom. Upon completion of secondary schooling (aka high school), Mr. Williams Jr. returned to the US, enlisted for 3 years of active duty in the US US Army, and was also awarded the Army GI Bill fund of $22,800 toward his college education. He later attended real estate, engineering, and law school upon completion of his 3 year active duty military service.
Education
Williams Jr. earned an Associates of Science degree in Real Estate from Los Angeles Harbor College, a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering Technology - Construction Mgmt. & Structural Design from Old Dominion University, an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a J.D. (with focus on Real Estate Law) from . Williams is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
Industrial Career
Williams' focus on three staple industries, stem from experience and expertise in leveraged finance, marketing, real estate and transportation. Suilen Roc Industrial Management (SRIM) and the funds it manages have invested either through development or acquisition in over 18 profitable companies. SRIM, both directly and through its subsidiaries have developed and acquired commercial assets in the advertising media, real estate and transportation industry.
