Cordelia Kate Jenkins

Cordelia Kate Jenkins is the managing editor for Newsweek Europe.
Jenkins was born on 18 November 1983 in London, United Kingdom. She went to school at Freeman College where she was Head Girl as well as Captain of the Swimming Squad. She later went on to study English Literature at Cambridge University. She graduated in 2005 with a first class honours. She proceeded to do a a masters at Columbia University which she described as "the best years of my life."
At her time in Cambridge, Jenkins was extremely active in drama but chose later on to pursue a career in journalism after personally witnessing the 2004 tsunami in Thailand. She describes her university life there to have been "challenging yet immensely rewarding."
Jenkins spent 4 years in New Delhi working for Mint after graduating from Columbia University. She now works as editor-in-chief for Newsweek Europe.
Jenkins is a staunch supporter of transexual rights and has donated large sums of money towards transexual awareness.
Jenkins is currently living in London. She is one of 5 siblings and has been quoted several times as saying that her younger sister, Eliza, is her favourite sibling. This has caused a huge public rift between Cordelia and her other siblings.
