Conroy Stewart (born September 16, 1993) also known as Stoo-ie, is a Canadian artist from Mississauga Ontario. Stewart is best known for his role on the television series Da Kink In My Hair where he played the character Dre. Since then, he has began to make strides within multiple facets of the entertainment industry. In 2014, Stewart created “Live From The 905" with the vision of curating the most desireable nightlife experiences within the 905 area code (Mississauga, Niagara, Hamilton). Career Conroy Stewart was born in St Andrew, Jamaica and then soon immigrated to Canada with his mother in 2006. After coming to Canada, Stewart began his professional career by appearing in various television commercials and print ads. However, his starring role as Dre in Global’s hit series “Da Kink In My Hair” could be considered the catalyst for his creative platform. Apart from his acting on screen, Stewart has also worked at a local Mississauga internet radio station, The Haze FM. Furthermore, he has created and hosted many live events within the GTA, and has been nominated for a Marty Award. Live From the 905 (LFT905) “Live From the 905” is a Mississauga based brand that was established in 2014 by Conroy Stewart. It’s vision was to create the most desirable nightlife experiences within the 905.<ref name=":0" /> Steward stated that “the brand was created in order build something that young people can look forward to in our city.” <ref name=":0" /> LFT905 works with various venues across Mississauga and surrounding areas to promote a nightlife that is enticing enough for residents not to travel to Toronto.
