Conference Theory is a theory which acknowledges that when an underdog faces a more properly prepared opponent, the more skilled and therefore talented opponent will inevitably reduce his level of performance as a consequence of complacency and arrogance. Conference Theory is used as an excuse amongst players of the game Pro Evolution Soccer when faced against a player of whom they perceive to be of lesser ability in the game. See Also * |
