Community Treatment Solutions

Community Treatment Solutions (CTS) is a non-profit organization that provides psychiatric treatment to children, adolescents and families as a response to the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) searching to place such people in that type of setting. CTS is based in Moorestown Township, New Jersey and serves the South Jersey area.
History
CTS was formed in 1990 to assist children in Burlington County, New Jersey. Since then it has expanded to the entire south and central New Jersey area.

Programs
*Specialty Services: a community-based alternative to residential treatment for children who display trauma, abuse, and/or psychiatric disorders and exhibit complex behaviors
*STARS (Special Teens Achieving Real Success): a community-based alternative to institutional placement for youth who are developmentally delayed or mentally ill (DD/MI)
*Shelter Care: a 28-day program that houses youth in treatment foster homes within the community
*BASE (Better Access to a Safe Environment): a program designed to restore dignity, decrease public health risk, and increase the wellbeing of children who are being exploited for domestic human trafficking, in which services are provided through a therapeutic treatment home model
*TRAIL (Transitional Assisted Independent Living): a program that utilizes a positive youth development model that supports youth as they transition to independence, focusing on life and job skills as well as academic achievement
*Goldston Family Services: a program which reunites families after a child has been removed due to abuse or neglect
*Functional Family Therapy: a program that specializes in family intervention for at-risk and juvenile justice involved youth living in their own homes
*Outpatient Services: an outpatient program intended to serve youth and families that are stepping down from other CTS services and are in need of clinical services on an outpatient basis
*FAST (Family and Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment) - a program that provides traditional intensive services in the community for youth who struggle with alcohol and/or drug use
