Company history
Combilift was establishied in Clontibret, County Monaghan Ireland in 1998 by engineers Martin McVicar and Robert Moffett. With a combined engineering experience of over 40 years, they used their knowledge and practical experience to create a new long-load forklift: The Combilift.
In just ten years Combilift grew to be the global leader in the long-load handling market. Combilift products can be found in over 75 markets worldwide and there are over 20,000 units in operation.
Combilift products
Combilift produces over 10 different products for the material handling industry. Comblift's first product was the C4000. Whilst electric multidirectional forklifts were available it was the Combilifts design and internal combustion engine that set it apart.
The Combilift C4000 was designed to take on the role currently occupied by conventional counterbalance and sideloader forklifts. Its design allowed the C4000 to handle palletised loads and long awkward loads with ease. The benefits of replacing 2 conventional forklifts with 1 combilift was a major benefit, as was the increased safety for operators, indoor and outdoor capabilities and the range of customisation achieveable. The combilifts guided aisle system and warehouse layout department helped to provided customers with the complete package when it came to material handling and storage. In some cases the combination of the two could increase a company's storage by up to 100% without any increase in available storage space.
