Colendi (founded in 2017) is an Anglo-Turkish banking-as-a-servic<nowiki/>e (BaaS) fintech company, headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. History Colendi's chairman is Ian Hannam, a former chair of JP Morgan Cazenove. In 2023, Colendi was authorized by Turkey's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) to open Turkey's first digital deposit bank. In 2024, Colendi officially launched ColendiMind. Colendi AI plans to open a Middle East and Africa regional office in early 2025. Colendi's valuation has increased to $700 million after raising $65 million in a Series B fundraising round. There are currently 17 million users of Colendi in Turkey. |
