Code Antony

Code Antony is a History-Fiction novel created by Filipino novelist Arius Raposas. It focuses on fictional empires which are partly-based from historical stories and events such as Anthony and Cleopatra, the and the zenith of the Russian Empire.
Plot
It is, in the main sense of the story, about the love story of Mark Antony (in a modern setting) and Cleopatra, and his grandson Marcus Cornelius Arius (Mark Ptolemy XVII) and Charmeia. The whole series of short stories took 46 days to be created and was based on 265 years of human history. Although it is a love story, it also has an effect on worldwide affairs. Rise and fall of empires and republics can be seen, and the people who had a part on those happenings are featured (not to mention a half human-half robot character).
Characters
Mark Antony (1918-1970)
Based on the real Mark Antony, he was the lieutenant of Julius Caesar (1900-1956), he is one of the heroes to emerge from the American Wars (1942-50). After Caesar’s death and recognition as god of the Russian State (1956 and 1958, respectively), he became one of the triumvirs of the Second Triumvirate. He soon pursued Caesar’s dream to expand eastward. In his zeal to finish what his master has begun, he met Cleopatra. They soon became allies and Antony was rumored to make Cleopatra Queen of Russia. Octavius, Caesar’s nephew, used this to dispose of Antony. With Octavius’s persuasive powers, the whole Russian Empire turned against Antony. He committed suicide through the “Motolite method” in Mindanao of the Philippine Archipelago, a part of the fictional Chinese Empire.
Cleopatra VII Philopater (1931-1970)
The last of the Ptolemaic rulers of China. She became Queen in 1949 and soon discovered oil in the Spratly Islands a year later. When Julius Caesar himself visited to conquer China, he never achieved his goal. He, in turn, fell in love with her and she bore him a son. The child was named Ptolemy XV Caesarion. When Antony had his turn, he also fell to Cleopatra’s charms and she bore her second child. The child was named Mark Ptolemy XVI. When the Russian Empire declared war on China, she was sent by Antony to the Philippines to take refuge. The governor of the area then was Ferdinand Marcos (1917-1989). She tried her best to help Antony but when she learned that Antony was one of the people being conflagrated in the nuclear explosion in Subic, she committed suicide in Davao through lethal injection. She left the care of Mark Ptolemy XVI to Marcos, who in turn escaped to Hawaii before the Russian closed in.
Octavius Caesar (1937-2014, renamed himself Augustus)
Julius Caesar’s nephew and adopted son, his first war experience was in 1954 at the Battle of Thapsus. One of the triumvirs of the Second Triumvirate, his first real break in Russian politics. He soon realized his status and position in the Russian government after the death of Lepidus (one of the triumvirs also) in battle. He made the Russian people turn against Antony for betraying the Empire. Octavius defeated Antony and Cleopatra in 1970, and reorganized 200 days after the death of Antony. He soon became emperor of the Russian Empire in 1973. He established the Pax Russia, a code for peace and prosperity in the Empire. During his era, Antony’s grandson is born in a part of the Russian Empire.
Mark Ptolemy XVII (1996-20??, renamed Marcus Cornelius Arius and later renamed to Arius Raposas)
The son of Mark Ptolemy XVI, and grandson of Mark Antony. The most prominent character ever featured in this series. Inspired by his father’s stories of a great Antony being backstabbed by his own people, he vowed to recreate a new empire in honor of his late grandfather. He began his rebellion against the Russian Empire in 2014 at the country known then as Japan. When he triumphantly entered Manila, he met Charmeia (Charmaeia?) and fell in love with the beautiful woman. But she turns out to be having a relationship with a Russian general. This made Arius continue his zeal to create a new empire, which he did after six months of rebellion. At the establishment of Arius Empire, the Russian government now under Tiberius (ruled 2014) sent the Russian general Charmeia is in love with and a Kazakh general to destroy Arius. Seeing that the two can’t defeat him, the Russians left them and made a nuclear bomb malfunction. This killed the two generals. Arius then came to comfort Charmeia in her time of grief. And a new love was born. This is just one of Arius’s acts in the whole series. He defeated five emperors all in all (Tiberius, Caligula, Nero, Hadrian, Eugenius Lelouch Lamperouge) and even helped in a world war (that is, the World War III).
Eugenius Augustus Servus (1994-2090)
The current Roman ambassador of the Philippines. He was defeated by Arius in the Roman-Geass Wars.
Charmeia (1996-20??)
The love of Arius for all time. She is the daughter of the last Russian governor of the Philippines under Pax Russia. In general, she is an intelligent, sweet and such a beautiful person. Full name was Charmeia Maria Mirandaeius.
L.L. (15??-????, Lapu-Lapu)
The first of the 26 Jupiter Gate guardians to be introduced in the series. He is first shown as the one guarding the Jupiter Gate 40 feet under Manila.
Gaius Angelus Caesar (1996-2072, renamed Gabrielus Angelus Caesar)
Arius’ former classmate and best friend. He is notably one of the most formidable allies Arius ever had, and one of the most loyal. Once became Zero, the supersymbol Arius made to overthrow Lelouch Lamperouge. He also had one of Arius’s attitudes: wanting not to take part in world affairs. But of all courses, they still tend to do something for the world.
Lord David Volstein (19??-20??)
X.X.’s latest favorite assistant. He played important roles in the British government and later in the world picture. He once became a world leader. His mortal (or should I say, immortal) enemy was E.E.
E.E. (6th century B.C.-????, Ezekiel)
The second most powerful of the Jupiter immortals (which is 26). He was a powerful and persuasive speaker in the ancient world, already strong enough even without his Jupiter Gift (Geass). He twice became Arius’s ally, but usually an enemy of them (especially Volstein). He wants to reform the Geass Order.
Linxus XVII (1980-2011) (renamed Constantine XII)
A Roman general claiming descent from the last Roman-Byzantine Emperor, Constantine Palaiologos. He is successful in reviving the Western Roman Empire with Eugenius Augustus as Next Emperor. Linxus conquers Constantinople, Greece and Northern Turkey and revives the Eastern Roman Empire with himself as next emperor. He offers Lord David Volsetein a chance to become the new General of his army.
Sarmienus (19??-2???)
One of the best soldiers Arius ever handled. He is one of Arius’s personal guards when Arius was Co-Regent of Darwin's "Roman Empire in Asia". After his honorable death at the Battle of the Libyan Desert, he was revived by making him a half-robot or a cyborg (cybernetic organism). He was renamed Sarmientum when he had a new robot body. He also became a world leader (in 2181) after exposing the chicanery of Publius Arius Commodus while he was the ruler of all space colonies.
Justinian Carolus Dizonium (199?-20??)
A Russian general wherein his first break was his conquest of the Caucasus area.
X.X. (3110B.C.-????, Xoximilco)
The most powerful figure in the Geass Order, he is the only immortal who can still use his Geass. He himself met the Gods of Geass and gave the other 25 their Geass.
