Clyde Parkour

Clyde Parkour (Cpk) is one of the UK's top professional Parkour & Freerunning teams, based in the town of Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. They have worked on music videos, live shows, coaching workshops, documentaries and tv appearances among other things.
Clyde Parkour is also one of the largest communities of Parkour/Freerun practitioners in Scotland.
Clyde Parkour Core Team & Community
Cpk has a 5 man core performance team featuring some of Clydebank's most experienced practitioners. The team consists of Jamie Young, Ian Lyon, Paul Connoly, Steve McAdam and Tony Paul.
The community consists of Jonathan Kelly, Marcus Stevenson, Austin Mcpherson, Shaun Mcadam, Connor Mckernan, Mark Mickenzie, Tony Clarke, Sean Anderson, Greg Gibson and anyone else who considers themselves as part of Clyde Parkour.
History
Jamie Young, Connor Mckernan, Stuart Allan, Andrew Marshall and Mark Mckenzie where the founders of Clyde Parkour Team (Cpt) (this has no relation to Clyde Parkour(Cpk) ) in 2006. Members of the team began to lose interest late on and was left with Mark Mckenzie and Jamie Young.
In late 2006 Ian Lyon started Clyde Parkour (Cpk) with Jamie Young, Ross Short, Rhys McAllister and Mark Mackenzie.
In late 2008/early 2009, other practitioners in the area (many now part of Cpk) started a team named Team Synergy, this caused conflict and tension in the area and it was later agreed that everyone join each other with regards to teams which formed Clyde Parkour as it is today.
In March 2009 the team became sponsored by Boost Drinks.
Media
Clyde Parkour have 2 skilled filmmakers on hand that handle all of the teams needs.
The team have produced many training videos but are currently filming their showreel.
The team have many videos on video sharing website YouTube, they are uploaded on to Ian Lyon's and Paul Connolly's YouTube accounts.

Criticism
Members of the team have been criticized by some of the Glasgow Parkour community for doing media work with Parkour & Freerunning, claiming that some members of the team are only in it for the money.
Community
The founding members of Clyde Parkour have built one of the biggest communities in Scotland since 2005, with lots of young people taking up Parkour in the area after being inspired by the older guys.
Clyde Parkour now gives back to the community by offering guidance and assistance when needed and continue to help nurture and support the growing scene in Clydebank.
