Clonbony GAA (also spelled as Clonboney GAA) is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling and camogie club in the parish of Kilfarboy in County Clare, Ireland, founded in 1936. They play in Milltown Malbay. History The club was founded in 1936 by local business man Tom Malone, who supported and represented the club from that time till his death in 2008. The club was originally barred from entry in the GAA due to an objection of neighbouring club Milltown Malbay GAA in 1941. For the appeal procedure, Tom Malone, Martin Talty and Thady Flanagan cycled all the way to Tipperary. The decision not to register the club was overturned. Achievements * Men: Declared winner of the "Division 6 Hurling Final" 2013, after no show of Kilkee GAA. * Women: 1983-1985 Clare Ladies Football senior championship.
