Clint Grill is an American black & white Photographer from Oceanside, CA (San Diego County).
He was born December 6th, 1987 in Oceanside, CA. He grew up in Bonsall, CA. About 30 minutes from Carlsbad. He attended Bonsall elementary school and Sullivan middle school
He moved to Washington, PA, where in high school His obsession with photography began. He went on to do photography classes and workshops. Visiting Pratt in Brooklyn for a short stint.
He specializes in close ups, and works almost exclusively with a macro lens and/or bellows. Although the 70-300mm lens comes in handy when He finds himself para sailing, rock climbing, or anything that puts him high above the horizon.
His 1987 Nikon F3 (same year He was born) never leaves his side. He shoots with 1600 ISO black & white non C41 film ONLY.
Occasionally you will find him working with inferred or high definition film….but that’s only on occasion.
He formed his first A Day Late after a song by his then favorite band Blink 182 entitled Dammit. In which the lyrics state "A day late, a buck short"
He went on to play such famous clubs as The 31st Street Pub in historic Pittsburgh, PA with his then band All Systems Go.
