Chromatic scale for flute

Realized by Daniel Theaker in 2010, the "chromatic scale for flute" is an pedagogical tool comprised of notes on staff to best facilitate learning chromatic scales in flute students.
The notes are F-F#-G-Ab-A-Bb-B-C-C#-D-Eb-E-F. This example starts on F but it can begin on any note as long as the main notes and accidentals are used.
The main difference between this unique scale for flute players and a regular chromatic scale is
that chromatic scales typically ascend in sharps and descend in flats. This new way of writing a chromatic scale brings the most common sharps and flats to both ascending and descending scales for ease of reading and playing.
While teaching flute students in Laval, Quebec, Canada from 2009 to 2011, Mr. Theaker found that students responded better to this revised form of chromatic scale better suited to young music students who play flute.
