Christopher H. Knight

Christopher H. Knight (born 1969 in Denver, CO) is a television and film score composer.
He started his career in music playing piano and keyboard for Austin, TX singer/songwriter Alejandro Escovedo. In 1992 he moved to New York, NY and played for many local artists including Joan Osborne.
In 1994 he wrote his first jingle for Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream. For the next 14 years he lived in New York and wrote underscores for many commercials including American Express, SAAB, GMC, Pringles, Sprite, Diet Coke, and many others. During this time he also started to write themes and underscores for TV shows such as,Up Close and Dangerous, Walking with Dinosaurs 2008, Raising the Mammoth, Love on the Rocks, The One: Making a Music Star, and others.
In 2008 Knight composed the new theme for the prestigious PBS television series Masterpiece Theater.
In 2009 he wrote the score for A Close Enemy a russian-language film produced and distributed by Columbia Pictures International.
