Christoph Schweizer

Christoph Schweizer (born 1973) is CEO of the global management consultancy Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since October 2021.
Early life and education
Christoph Schweizer was born in Germany. He holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and a Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Administration and Management from WHU.
Career
In 1997, following his studies at UT Austin, Schweizer joined BCG's Munich office as a consultant. After 10 years in Munich, he moved to BCG's New York office where he worked from 2007 to 2021, before returning to Munich. Schweizer led BCG's Health Care practice from 2011 to 2014, served as Head of Global practices from 2014 to 2017 and led BCG's CEMA (Central Europe, Middle East, and Affiliates) region from 2017 to 2021, where he oversaw 39 offices in 23 countries and regions. He has been a member of the firm's Executive and Operating Committees since 2014. He also is a member of several leading organizations, including the Business Roundtable and the World Economic Forum.
