Christian Rich

Christian Rich is a Chicago-based artist and producer duo consisting of Kehinde "Rich" Hassan and Taiwo "Christian" Hassan. They are twin brothers born February 5, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois to Nigerian Immigrants. With the release of two mixtapes and countless features, Christian Rich gained major exposure with the release of their video for single "Famous Girl" in 2009. Christian Rich are also the newest members of The Neptunes camp and have worked with Diddy, Clinton Sparks, Big Sean, Armand Van Helden, The Clipse, The Neptunes, Peter Bjorn and John, to name a few.
Early life
The brothers moved to Nigeria when they were 4 years old and gained some life lessons that shaped their musical skills. They returned back to America when they were 9 years old. They were introduced to hip hop by their older sister who would play them artists like Dr. Dre, A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde and others. They began their musical journey at the age of 11 where they would sample jazz songs straight from the radio and use a portable tape deck to track their vocals. Eventually they got better at producing and started to sell songs to local Chicago artists. This led to production with bigger artists including Lil' Kim who helped the duo land their fist platinum plaque.
