Christ: The Dark Years (2009) is a book written by Brian D. Diederich that depicts the life and journeys of Jesus Christ. This book is written as a descriptive narrative. It can be considered a work of historical fiction because the author makes no attempt to cite his sources. Brian D. Diederich started writing the book in 1992. Although this book covers the years of the ministry of Jesus Christ, it is mainly chronicle’s the life of Jesus during the years that are not included in the bible. Lead on journeys of philosophical and psychological self discovery by the Three Wise Men and women in his life, Jesus struggles with his own humanity and the ideas of world early Religious Sects according to this Book. The book claims that the major struggle of Jesus was the method by which he would convert the western world to monotheism. In this book Jesus is influenced by the people he meets on his travels through Africa, Babylon, India, and Asia. According to this book, Jesus works to fight sexism and other unjust causes and he addresses feminism, political ideologies, as well as social justice.
