Chris Iorio

Chris Iorio is a musician, best known for being the former lead guitarist of rock band Adelitas Way.
Early life
Iorio was born on November 8, 1990 in Poughkeepsie, New York. He began playing guitar at 8 and attended the Academy for the Performing Arts. At 13, while attending the rock and roll camp Camp Jam, Chris was featured on CNN Live with Jeff Carlisi, performed with the Van Halen tribute band Atomic Punks. In 2005, he was named the "Best Guitar Player" in Las Vegas when he won "Guitarmageddon", Guitar Center's national contest. In the summer of 2006, he traveled to Atlanta as part of the Camp Jam Allstars and played and recorded on a song written by Jeff Carlisi, Liberty Devito, Billy Joel, and Derek St. Holmes Ted Nugent. In 2008, Chris was featured on MTV's "Camp-d Out, I'm Going to Rock Camp" at Camp Jam, Chicago's first overnight program.
Adelitas Way (2006-2009)
Chris Iorio was the co-founder and former lead guitarist of the hard rock band Adelitas Way. The band signed with Virgin Records in 2008. Their self-titled debut album was released on July 14, 2009. Their first single off the album, which Chris co-wrote with Rick Dejesus and Dave Bassett, "Invincible", is the urrent theme song for WWE Superstars on WGN America, played during the season finale of CSI: Miami. It was also used by the NFL, NHL, NCAA March Madness and on numerous T.V placements (CSI:Miami, MTV's Bully Beatdown) and video games (WWE: Raw vs. Smackdown 2010, etc.). The song remains popular, as it is being used as the theme song for fox sports coverage of NCAAF, at live sporting events worldwide, and is currently receiving international airplay in several countries. (Mexico, South Africa, U.K, Romania, etc.) Also around this time, Chris co-wrote the Divide the Day song, "One Night Stand" which charted in the top 30 on the Active rock charts. During 2009, Chris and the rest of Adelitas Way extensively toured the U.S playing well over 200 shows, and shared the stage with acts such as Motley Crue, Shinedown, Disturbed, Staind, and Chris Cornell to name a few. However, in late 2009, Chris and the band went their separate ways due to internal band issues.
BADHORSE and return to rock music (2009-Present)
In 2010, he made an appeaacclaimed documentary, "Rock Prophecies" In the fall of 2010, one of the songs Chris co-wrote off the "Adelitas Way" album, "Scream", was one of the songs featured on the SAW 3D soundtrack. In 2011, Chris teamed up with country rising stars "BADHORSE". During this time, they ma video for the track "It's All Good" with NFL great Terry Bradshaw that received air play on GAC along with Fox Sports.
in 2012, they were lucky enough to be invited to Super Bowl 46 and play numerous events such as the NFL: Alumni Honor Awards which was hosted by Alec Baldwin and aired on NFL Network.
In July 2012, Chris announced his return to rock music on his website saying that he is currently hard at work with Austin musician, Yayo Sanchez in their new project, Cosmic Wolf.

His influences are Randy Rhoads, Ted Nugent, Jeff Carlisi, Nikki Sixx, Slash, Kip Winger, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, and Robben Ford. He has a musical range from playing rock music to writing classical music and composing.
He has played with Robben Ford, Sammy Hagar and Jeff Carlisi from .38 Special.
