Childs Farm is a natural infant and child toiletry manufacturer based in the United Kingdom. The company also produces an animation series on Cartoonito, a pre-school television channel owned by Turner Media broadcast in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Malta. Joanna Jensen founded Childs Farm in 2010 and serves as the company’s CEO. History Joanna Jensen founded Childs Farm in 2010, after she struggled to find suitable products for her two daughters who have sensitive skin and fine flyaway hair. In October 2014, Childs Farm launched its nappy cream for happy bottoms. The following month, Junior Magazine named Childs Farm "Best Children’s Toiletries." In 2014, the company launched three products in Waitrose, a British supermarket chain, and seven products in Boots UK, a pharmacy chain in the United Kingdom. In February 2015, Childs Farm sponsored the ‘Most Improved Participant’ category at the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Gala Awards. The company donates 10 percent of its proceeds to the Riding for the Disabled Association. Operations The company’s products are sold in supermarkets, department stores and pharmacies in the United Kingdom including Boots and Waitrose. Each product undergoes clinical testing and controlled user trials. In a 2014 user trial of 103 babies with eczema, 98 percent of their parents said they would recommend Childs Farm products to their friends. It produces the only natural products suitable for children prone to eczema approved by dermatologists and pediatricians.
