Chilamkurthi Veeraswamy

Chilamkurthi Veeraswamy (1947-2004), alias Ambulu, was one of the senior veteran leaders of the Indian National Congress.
Early life
Chilamkurthi was born in a very rich and well-reputed family of Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. His father is Chilamkurthi Adiyya Garu, and mother Rajeswaramma. He completed his SSLC, showing his interest towards politics he made his mark in it.
Political life
He competed against Vaddi Ranga Rao, in 1978 election and lost with a minor difference of 1500 votes.
He later continued to be in politics under Indian National Congress and participated in many of their event and mainly supported Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga, and also responsible for the marriage of ranga and ratnakumari. his brother in law Melam Suryanarayana , of Perupalem also contested in elections for narsapur constituency in 1985.
He made many noted works being in the party and remained closest to all of other members in the party.
Personal life
He was married to Suseela and had a son. He died on 24 November 2004.
Death
He died in the year 2004.
