Chicken Scramble

Chicken Scramble is a sliding block puzzle video game by developer Rocket Bottle Games, released on September 3, 2014 for iOS and Android, with a Facebook version to be announced.
Gameplay
Chicken Scramble is a sliding block puzzle that plays in a manner similar to that of 2048. Players can swipe up, down, left, or right on a touchscreen to move chicken blocks in the corresponding direction across a tiled board. These are the only controls in the game, aside from button presses.
The object of the game is to clear stages. Players do so by fulfilling quotas within a specified move count. Each stage varies in size and shape, and may be populated by a variety of obstacles and features to force players to adapt their strategies to each board.
In addition, players must attain a sufficient score to receive one star. In most instances, merely fulfilling the quota will satisfy this requirement. Higher scores award players with additional stars, up to a total of three. In some stages, players must use combos of consecutive matches to increase their score to sufficient amounts to warrant a three-star rating.
Special Tiles/Blocks
Flowerbed tiles double the rewards awarded to players when matches are performed on them. They are useful for fulfilling quotas or achieving high scores.
Haystacks are multi-tier obstacles that players can remove by performing matches beside them.
Hatchpoint tiles are designated areas where new eggs will appear. Eggs will not appear in any other areas of the map when these tiles are present.
Dandelions are obstacles that spread across the board. A player may remove dandelions by performing matches beside them. If a dandelion is not removed that turn, then a new dandelion will grow in an empty tile beside an existing dandelion.
Special Chickens
Special chickens are typically an obstacle in Chicken Scramble. They can be removed by matching the appropriate ordinary chicken to them.
Sleeping chickens can move, but they present an obstacle to players, as they cannot match with other chickens. When awoken, they grow into the next grade.
Caged chickens cannot move. When freed, they grow into the next grade.
Robot chickens are bombs that explode after a certain number of turns (indicated by a glowing number on their chest), causing the player to lose. When defused, robot chickens are removed from the board entirely.
Power-ups
Undo allows the players to roll back the board state by one move. Quotas, moves, and scores are reset as well; power-up count remains unaffected. Undo is often used to correct mistakes, but is also an essential tool in protecting high combo counts. Undo is the most common of the three power-ups and can be purchased in bundles of five.
Claw removes chickens and obstacles. It is a versatile power-up that can be used in a variety of situations. Claws can be purchased in bundles of three.
Fill makes an egg appear on every empty tile on the board. It is used as a quick means to damage obstacles such as hay bales and dandelions, boost score, and protect combos. Fill is the rarest of the three power-ups and does not come bundled.
In-app Purchases
Players can purchase a premium currency, Gold, to spend on various in-game items.
In a manner reminiscent of arcade games, players can have up to five lives. They lose one life when they fail to clear a stage. When they run out of lives, they must acquire additional ones to continue playing, either by purchasing a lives refill, receiving one from a friend, or waiting 30 minutes.
When players fail to clear a stage, if they have moves left, they may use a power-up; this is usually the case when players run out of viable moves and get stuck. If not, they may purchase additional moves. If a robot chicken explodes, they may also purchase another chance and continue play.
Reception
Reviews for Chicken Scramble have been overall positive, with critics praising it for its ease of play and quality art and music.
