Chess Dungeon

Chess Dungeon is a Chess derived game system (or Chess variantChess variant) invented by Thomas P.W. James in 2005 that allows 2 or more players to play Chess with no actual limit to the number of possible players. It is a Tile-based Tile-based game. Features include: The players determine the size and shape of the "board" during game-play, such that the playing area of the game varies widely from game to game. Trading cards determine both the individualized units of the "board" and the types of Chess pieces played. The first commercial run of cards was self-published in 2011 at Printline, however, five generations of cards were printed for game testing purposes from 2006 through to 2008. The copyrighted artwork associated with the cards is therefore generally dated as 2006.
Game testing was extensive, lasting roughly five years: from 2005 to 2010.
The main primary testers were:
* Anthony Carr
* Jacqueline Baker
* Angus Priest
* Catherine Whitten
The main secondary testers were:
* Gregory Widger
* Philip Boldy
* Simon Morrison
