Cheryll Tickle Medal

In 2016, the British Society of Developmental Biology (BSDB) introduced the Cheryll Tickle Medal which is awarded each year to a female, mid-career scientist for exceptional contributions to Developmental Biology research. The award received its name from Cheryll Tickle, a cell and developmental biologist who studied pattern formation during embryogenesis in the developing limb. The medal is awarded at the annual BSDB Spring Meeting, followed by the Cheryll Tickle Award Lecture given by the medallist.
