Chavis Chandler

Chavis Chandler is a modern hip hop artist.
Early Life
Chavis Chandler was born on May 9th, 1991 to mother, Charlene Long. He was raised on the east side of Detroit, Michigan 7 Mile area. He has two sisters, Charnyce and Chariece. Chavis attended Pershing High School, graduating in 2010.
Chavis's love for music began as a child. He loved singing and often emulated Usher. Chavis lived in Tennessee for a brief period as a teenager. It was there that he learned to rap, taught by his cousin.
Early career
Chavis Chandler released his first album, AfterSkoolDetention, in December of 2009. Chavis performed at the early Red Cup Session shows in Detroit and started building his crew with Nolan the Ninja, Jimmy Stoner, and A-Minus.
In February 2011, Chavis released Breath of Fresh Air. He also performed at the Warped Tour in Detroit. He began touring in 2011, performing at many local shows in Detroit and going state to state.
In December 2011, he released Breath of Fresh Air II, which quickly became his most acclaimed album at the time. He was a member of Danny Brown's Bruiser Brigade and he increased in popularity. Danny Brown, Crack Killz, J-Sun, and Zelooperz were featured on his album. Hits like Hands and K's and OFTLOA set his album apart.
In March 2012, Chavis was featured on MTV Rap Fix with Sway and DJ Whoo Kid. His video for "OFTLOA" was showcased.
Later that year Chavis went to New York with his group Bruiser Brigade to be on "The Selector" and performed at a sold out show. This was the last time Chavis was seen with Bruiser Brigade, leaving the group in 2013.
Current career
In January of 2013 Chavis Chandler released a mixtape Bridgecard Raps which features A-Minus, Jimmy Stoner, and Nolan The Ninja. It featured hits like, "Lou's Coney Island," "Duck Down," and "Stay True".
