Chantal Desjardins

Chantal Desjardins (born June 28, 1981, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is a Canadian radio and television personality who currently works for Rogers Media.
Biography
Desjardins graduated with a Communications degree from the University of Winnipeg and a Creative Communications diploma from Red River College.
Desjardins began her career as a copywriter, then later a sports anchor and reporter for Citytv Winnipeg (CHMI-TV).
After moving to Montreal in 2006, Desjardins worked as a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor for CJAD radio in Montreal, then as a traffic reporter for Astral Media. From January to December 2009, Chantal co-hosted The Rush with Mark and Chantal, on Virgin Radio 96 (CJFM-FM) from 4:00 to 7:00 weekday afternoons, with Mark Bergman. This was Virgin Radio's inaugural drive home show after its format change from MIX 96.
On January 4, 2010, Chantal joined Pete Marier on the CHOM-FM morning show from 5:30 am to 9:00 am; PJ Stock has since been added as a third host. The following year, PJ Stock left. By September 2011, Rob Kemp replaced Pete Marier, and the morning show returned to their closing time @ 10am.
As of January 9, 2012, Desjardins left CHOM for CJAD's The Aaron Rand Show with Aaron Rand where she had been a sports reporter.
Desjardins has also filled in regularly as a sports anchor and sports and entertainment reporter on the CTV Montreal news. She also hosts various community events.
Beginning in the 2014-15 hockey season, Desjardins joined Sportsnet with commentators John Bartlett and Jason York on the Montreal Canadiens broadcast team after its parent company won the rights to the NHL.
Personal life
Desjardins in involved with several charities, most notably organizing fundraising events in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
